The Calgary International Film Festival aspires to be Calgary’s most important annual cultural event and catalyst for economic diversification. Calgary Film is a major contributor to the city’s cultural vibrancy. With a rapidly growing audience of over 40,000 attendees, the 12-day festival is one Calgary’s largest annually recurring events. We are also a year-round arts and culture organization devoted to supporting our local filmmakers, youth, and enriching Calgary audiences through engaging films.

Calgary Film is both a registered charity and not-for-profit arts and culture organization operating 365 days of the year, and relies on support from individuals, Film Circle patrons, corporate festival sponsors, and a network of over 400 volunteers.
