At the biggest film festival in Alberta, there are a lot of options.
Taking over Globe Cinema, Eau Claire, the National Music Centre at Studio Bell, and the Jack Singer Concert Hall to kick it all off , there's always plenty of entertainment for the discerning film buff - 178 features and shorts (chosen from nearly 2000 paid submissions), with 32 directors submitting their first-ever feature film, and 56 of them having a female director. It can seem daunting to try to pick just a few, but here's a handy summary list of our major categories so you can get prepared before the Box Office fully opens on September 14.
