CIFF & Hot Docs set attendance record with 9th season of Doc Soup

The ninth season of the Doc Soup Calgary Series set a new attendance record with 2,655 audience members coming out for the six screenings in the year-round documentary series. With an attendance increase of 24% over the 2015-16 season, this was the biggest in the series' nine-year history.

Doc Soup Calgary is a monthly feature-length documentary series presented in partnership with the Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) and Hot Docs. The series, now going into its 10th year, runs from November to April. Screening on the first Wednesday of each month, Doc Soup Calgary brings six of the year's most talked-about docs to local audiences. 

Subscriptions to the 2017-18 Doc Soup Season are now on sale. For $68 see all six documentaries in the upcoming series.
