A young thug is out for revenge on the man who hurt his beloved: her father, who happens to be a corrupt detective.
Andrei, a detective and the world’s most horrible father, brings together a terrible group of people in his apartment: his resentful actress daughter, an angry thug, and a cheated cop. Each one of them has a reason to want revenge, and a plan to get it.
In this first feature by Russian director Kirill Sokolov, and best described as a “splatterpunk action comedy drenched in gleefully dark Russian humor”, WHY DON’T YOU JUST DIE! is a ton of fun for the Late Shows audience, and a huge hit on the festival circuit!
