CIFF is a fun day out for thousands of Calgarians, but there’s a lot more riding on it for the filmmakers up for Festival Awards this year. Our expert programming team chose from hundreds of films submitted to the festival, and the best of the best are up for some serious cash.

Find out which films were selected by our juries of industry professionals to take home the RBC Emerging Artist Award; The DGC Best Canadian Documentary Award, and the three short film awards including Best Narrative Short, which becomes qualified for submission to the Academy Awards.

Industry and Regular Passholders receive priority entry.
