On the run from police, an injured young man falls under the care of a pair of young women belonging to a school for wayward girls, hiding him in the basement. But his presence causes a stir and soon reveals the true nature of the school as a secret cell of feminist terrorists, with the aim to liberate women, overthrow the patriarchy, and begin a female revolution.

THE MISANDRISTS is directed by Canadian filmmaker Bruce LaBruce (GERONTOPHILIA) and stars a cast of dynamic women, led by Susanne Sachße, Kita Updike, and Olivia Kundisch. THE MISANDRISTS was nominated for a Teddy for Best Feature Film at Berlinale.
