A look at what might happen if you could have your deceased loved ones back - but improve them along the way.

In the near future, humanity has not quite cured death - but they do have a workaround: you can now get holographic A.I.s of your deceased relatives to keep you company. 86-year-old Marjorie (Lois Smith, TRUE BLOOD, TWISTER) has embraced this, walking around with a young and spry version of her deceased husband Jon (Tim Robbins, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION). But the changes aren't always so innocent - some of the things he "knows" are not true, and reality gets distorted as this version of Jon is improved. What would we remember and what would we forget, if we got to choose?

MARJORIE PRIME, also starring Jon Hamm (MAD MEN) and Geena Davis (THELMA & LOUISE), is the latest film from award-winning director Michael Almereyda, and is based on the play of the same name by Jordan Harrison.
