After an attempted suicide, Ben uncovers a family secret that leads him to Hanna – a woman who could've been his adopted sister.

After failing to commit suicide, Ben decides somewhere along the line that his life went awry and he needs to find out why. Then he meets Hanna. She’s interesting, she’s eccentric, she’s beautiful – and as it turns out, she was also adopted by his parents and was supposed to be his sister, until he was born and she was shipped off. Ben decides having an older sister, even years later, could make him happy again.

ENTANGLEMENT is a dark comedy from the mind of Calgary screenwriter Jason Filiatrault (A CHRISTMAS HORROR STORY), produced by Calgarian Amber Ripley, and stars Thomas Middleditch, acclaimed actor of HBO’s SILICON VALLEY,  Jess Weixler (TEETH), and Diana Bang (BATES MOTEL). This is the second feature-length film from Canadian filmmaker Jason James, whose debut THAT BURNING FEELING played at the 2013 Calgary International Film Festival.
