Told through mesmerizing animation in co-production with the National Film Board of Canada, filmmaker Ann Marie Fleming (THE MAGICAL LIFE OF LONG TACK SAM) tells the story of Rosie Ming, an aspiring Chinese Canadian poet whose only wish in life is to live in Paris. Invited to a poetry-reading contest in Iran, Rosie (voiced by Sandra Oh) is confronted with a family divide she had no idea existed. Learning of her Iranian past in the process, the young poet grows up unexpectedly fast on her journey to self-discovery through learning of her roots and multi-cultural identity.

This is the first feature-length animated film from the NFB to be an official selection of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival since 1997. WINDOW HORSES is a heartwarming story of curiosity, acceptance and love.
