Bored and restless, 15-year-old Kit (Dylan Authors) dreams of escaping the small Nova Scotian town where he lives with his dad (Allan Hawco) and grandmother (Cathy Jones). Enlisting the help of his girlfriend Alice (Julia Sara Stone), the teens skip town and hitchhike towards the home of Kit’s absent mother Laura (Molly Parker), with whom Kit is determined to make a life. New friends that Kit and Alice meet along the way – including the talking ghost of Andy Warhol – test their relationship as they learn things about themselves and each other.

Directed by Canadian master Bruce McDonald (HARD CORE LOGO, PONTYPOOL) and written by prolific playwright and screenwriter Daniel MacIvor (WHOLE NEW THING), WEIRDOS is a black & white comedy-drama about two teens coming of age in the summer of 1976.
