The simple, everyday routine of a New Jersey bus driver becomes an ode to beauty in the lastest from cult filmmaker Jim Jarmusch. As Paterson (Adam Driver, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, GIRLS) happily makes a living driving buses in the same-named town of Paterson, New Jersey, he starts each day the same way: writing poetry about his daily observations. While his homemaker wife Laura (Golshifteh Farahani, ABOUT ELLY) encourages him to publish his writing, Paterson finds more contentment in quiet anonymity. As Paterson goes about his daily, seemingly-mundane routine with a sense of serenity, PATERSON becomes a testament to the zen of domestic life.

Director Jim Jarmusch was nominated for the prestigious Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for this film.
