With his feature film debut, writer/Director Michael Curtis Johnson has created a thoroughly modern portrait of love, family, and the ever-elusive search for fame. And while it pulls no punches dealing with its themes of addiction and broken dreams, at its heart, HUNKY DORY is an examination of the bond that exists between parents and their children – no matter the circumstances.
