GRABBERS sm

Grabbers

Year 2012
Runtime 99 mins

A soused-up tribute to the classic creature flicks of yore, Grabbers is a horror comedy that doesn't skimp on either side of the equation. With top-shelf special effects and an endlessly clever script from newcomer Kevin Lehane, this is one booze-soaked adventure you won't regret in the morning.

For Ciarán O’Shea, the sole policeman on Ireland's remote Erin Island, the biggest concern most days is which pint to pull at the local pub. That is, until his fellow islanders start turning up decapitated and drained of blood. With the help of a straight-laced cop from the mainland, O'Shea soon discovers two important facts: Whatever has been doing the killings isn't human, and it really doesn't like alcohol. If the Erin Islanders are going to survive this alien onslaught, they're going to have to get very, very drunk.
