Korea’s most represented and easily recognizable actor of his generation, Song Kang-ho (THIRST, THE HOST, SECRET SUNSHINE), and one of this generation’s rising young actors, Gang Dong-won, coming together as opposite leads in the highly anticipated second feature by Chang Hoon (ROUGH CUT – CIFF 2009).

The operation lead by National Intelligence Service agent Lee to capture an assassin known as Shadow ends in disaster and Lee is dismissed from his post. North Korean spy Ji-won is also abandoned by his organization after being framed as a traitor. Six years later, the two men run into each other, but they hide their identities and decide to work together. As they live under one roof, they maintain a tightrope tension and gradually develop an unusual friendship, all the while trying to uncover each other’s true motives. However, Ji-won receives an order from the organization that brings out Shadow for another mission. Lee and Ji-won must now choose whether to execute their orders or save one another from the inevitable.

SECRET REUNION is a fun, action-filled thriller, with great wit, gunfights, tae kwon do and outstanding performances by both leads.
