Decorated Marine Officer Alexandra (Dreya Weber, THE GYMNAST) has been removed from her position in the military and forced to return home to face her new reality, one much different than the one she has become used to.
Full of frustration and military conditioning, it doesn’t take much to push Alexandra over the edge when people rub her the wrong way. As a better use of her time and strength, a friend of Alexandra’s in the local police force tasks her with the responsibility of putting a troubled girl, Saffron, through her own military boot camp. Just as she settles into a comfortable pattern, though, the true reasons for Alexandra’s homecoming become known in her conservative hometown, threatening the future of both women and putting their lives in danger.
Using the story of one courageous woman, award-winning director Ned Farr (THE GYMNAST) highlights the continuing controversy surrounding the US military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy and the ban on homosexuals as service members in this timely drama.
