These interactive (and usually free!) events are the best way to see how movie magic is made. From tours through special effects labs, to discussions with directors and filmmakers, to peeks at the technology used on a film set and much more, it's a great way to learn more about Alberta's film industry.

Behind the Screen is our way to connect local fans with the people who make the movies they love. We take the audience further into the world behind the scenes, and explore all the different roles that go into bringing these stories to the big screen - from directors and producers to cinematographers, visual effects creators, film reviewers, and many more.

Please note, registration is required for free Behind the Screen events. Admission is first come, first serve based on venue capacity.
