A series of bizarre tales play out in a small town in Iceland where the preferred mode of transportation is horseback.

Celebrated Icelandic theatre director Benedikt Erlingsson makes an immediately memorable film debut weaving unforgettable images that are at once absurd, comedic and human. As Erlingsson looks closer and closer at the integral role of the horses in the events of the citizens’ daily lives, we become incapable of separating man from horse.
